AlphaOne Timeline		About AlphaOne Technology Since its inception in 1990, AlphaOne has primarily focused on providing reasonably priced, high-quality services to small and medium size businesses.  Personal attention, and a sincere interest in helping these businesses compete in a world where big business has forced out so many of its smaller competitors, is what makes AlphaOne different. As you can see from our "Company Timeline", our focus on various services has changed a bit throughout the years, but what has never changed is our Mission Statement: "AlphaOne's Mission is to provide affordably priced, high value services to individuals & small and medium size businesses.  We will always strive to provide the best customer support possible and maintain our customer focus by controlling our growth and service offerings so that we can maintain personal relationships with our customers." In 2002 AlphaOne made some choices to assure that we were aligned with our Mission Statement.  We focused on our core competencies - web hosting & design, data center & project management and local onsite support services in the northwest suburban Chicago area.  We vowed to know our customers and provide them with a level of personal support and service that we see seriously lacking almost everywhere in the Web Hosting & Web Design industry. Oct. 1990	AlphaOne Online Opened as a 3 line BBS
Jan. 1991	AlphaOne Online expanded to 8 lines & began offering BBS Consulting Services
Dec. 1991	AlphaOne expanded to 16 lines & became one of the first profitable BBS's in Chicago
Aug. 1992	AlphaOne was named the #37th best On-Line Service in America by Boardwatch Magazine
Dec. 1992	Working with Dell, AlphaOne helped create Dell Online for Dell's largest corporate customers. AlphaOne Online expanded to 32 lines
June 1993	AlphaOne, working with Lawson Products, created a Product Catalog & Ordering CD Application that was rated #1 in its category by Microsoft in 1994.
Aug. 1993	AlphaOne named the 7th best Online Service in America by Boardwatch Magazine
Oct. 1993	Working with eSoft & GWA Services, AlphaOne created AOL's 1st prototype mall. We were also involved in designing & maintaining online services for Ameritech, AT&T, and several US government agencies
Jan. 1994	AlphaOne became one of the first Internet Service Providers in Chicago with 48 incoming lines. We expanded our consulting services to include Internet design & hosting.
Nov. 1994	AlphaOne began offering LAN/WAN services, and, with GWA Services, opened offices in Boston, Raleigh-Durham, San Jose, Chicago & Springfield, IL
Mar. 1995	AlphaOne began offering Internet Business Management Consulting services to firms like Walgreens & IBM, as well as to our usual midsize business customers
May 1996	AlphaOne sold AlphaOne Online & no longer provided dial-up Internet Service or web hosting
July 1996	AlphaOne teamed up with NRC & developed an on-line courseware & testing application for NET-G. This software was purchased by Microsoft and was used to begin MS Certification online testing.
Nov. 1996	AlphaOne included Data Center Management to its list of services and, working with NRC, developed & implemented data center standards & workstation standardization to over 10,000 PCs at an Allied Signal Division
May 1997	AlphaOne teamed up with TSC and developed a Data Center & Technology Architecture Assessment Tool that was used by over 100 clients in the next 3 years.
1998	AlphaOne teamed up with Keane to develop & implement technology architecture standards for the new Encyclopedia Brittanica Online
1999	AlphaOne teamed up with RCG and developed an Internet Project Management Methodology.  We also developed and taught this course throughout the US & Canada.
2000 - 2001	AlphaOne downsized services to focus on its core competencies - Web Design & Hosting, Project Management & Data Center Management.  We expanded our web hosting capabilities, and devoted a lot of time to providing reduced rate services to worthwhile charitable organizations.
2002	AlphaOne spun off a Christian Technology Ministry, Webs 4 Christ which handles all Christian & secular charitable organizations.
2003 - 2005	AlphaOne continues to build its Web Hosting & Design business in a controlled growth fashion in alignment with our Mission Statement
